OK, so I bought this a couple/few years ago (time is racing by at warp speed). I just didn’t open it……my grandmother had foretold her husband’s passing in the tea leaves, so it took me a while – well, a long while, to feel comfortable in opening the beautifully packaged cup and saucer, and guide book (sorry Kim and Al). Tea leaf reading, as with tarot reading and any other form of oracle, can be taken light-heartedly, or more seriously, as you feel more comfortable with the interpretations. The guide book included in the box is very thorough, with both examples of what you may see in the leaves and, how to interpret them – and a couple of sample readings to understand better.
I’m glad I finally felt comfortable in opening the package and being a tea lover, it’s easy to prepare for a reading any time that suits me.
The cup and saucer have many symbols (each explained in the book) to make the reading clear and easy to do. If you’re interested, you need this – you don’t need anything else except a teapot and tea leaves. And between readings, the cup and saucer are a lovely addition on a shelf, and a great conversation topic.
