This deck combines mystical Sufi wisdom with classic tarot archetypes recast as Sufi concepts and figures, offering a new lens on the traditional tarot system.

Sufism is often called the path to the heart because it is a process of turning within to the fountainhead of all knowledge through the opening and purification of the heart.

The quest for mystical truth is common to both tarot and Sufism.

Sufism, called ‘path of the heart.’ is about polishing the mirror of the heart to reflect the Divine. Similarly, tarot is about discovering the hidden secrets behind the Arcanas.

Ayeda Husain is a journalist and senior teacher in the Inayatiyya, a global organization dedicated to Universal Sufism as taught by Hazrat Inayat Khan. She teaches Sufi meditation, chanting, and philosophy with a special emphasis on Rumi’s poetry as a means of healing and evolving.

In her free time, she composes, sings, and records Sufi meditational music. She lives in Oakville, Ontario.
